Hiya everyone,
Mom is putting me to shame in the blogging world so I thought I had better try and catch up!
I made this card for a young lad who bought his dream Harley Davidson motor bike for his 18th birthday! He'd been saving for years I believe! Congrats to him!
The Harley Davidson Image is from their website I think. It just matched the colours that I wanted to use. I then spritzed the whole image with a gold spray to add a little more shimmer to the card! The paper is from a Papermania I think. I then added some red and gold gems to compliment the colour scheme.
The number 18 is cut out of cardboard using my cuttlebug, then triple embossed with red tinsel embossing powder.
The image that I used is from Kenny K. She is called Racy Roxie! I loooove his images. There is always one available to fit just about any occasion!!
Here is a close up of the image I coloured, using promarkers and Prisma Pencils. I used glossy accents on her glasses and her shoes!
I decorated the inside of the card to compliment the outside!
I want to enter this card into the Cupcake Crafts Challenge - Teenage boys!
Hope that you like it, and many thanks for stopping by! Sorry its been so long since I've posted!!!!!!!!!!
Big hugs

Looking for my 'mojo'!
Hi Everyone,
Its been more than quite a while since I was last on my blog, but believe me I have been looking at all yours! Looking for inspiration and trying to find my 'mojo'!!! Its disappeared completely and I'm struggling to get it back!
So yesterday I made a real effort to sort out my craft room and found lots of bits and pieces that I had completely forgot about it! So hopefully now that I've had a good sort and a reorganise I'll find my 'mojo' that's been missing for so long!
Looking forward to Kenny K's blog hop and new designs! I've downloaded a few more of his designs for my Dad's birthday next month! Might be just what I need to get going again!
I also found this picture of a card I made some time ago now, whilst sorting through my computer files for ideas, and it has given me a few ideas for some cards that I need to make for some friends at work!
Well that's all for now but I am determined to be back soon... with my 'mojo' and some new cards!

A very Special Mom
Hiya everyone,
Yesterday was my mom's very special birthday, the age we shall not reveal! Does a true lady ever? I wanted something that was fun and girly but showed a little of her beautiful nature and kind heart! I found this digi image and knew that it was perfect for her!
I have had the paper for quite some time now but never found the courage to cut and use it, but it was perfect for this image so I took the plunge! So glad I did as I was chuffed to bits with the result and so was my mom when she received it!!!! Don't think the photo does it justice though!
Here is a close up of the image I used!
The flowers and heart pin are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from a stall at the local market! The punch is Martha Stewart and the embellishments are from my stash.
The flowers were 'blinged' with gold glimmer spray just to add that little bit of glitz! The image was coloured using promarkers and my prisma pencils! Then I sprinkled the fairy wings, and 'champagne' with some glamour dust.
The word mom is printed off my computer and then placed on a tag that sits just behind the main image, the tag wishes her a very happy birthday!
I also decorated the inside to compliment the front, but silly me, I forgot to take a photo before I wrote my message inside!
Hope you love it as much as we do! I have decided to enter it into my very first challenge, the Wild orchid Challenge, Mum's are Special! Wish me luck!
Hugs

With Love
Hiya guys,
Hope that you are all enjoying the sunshine! I most definitely am, and hope that it continues as I am enjoying some well needed R&R with my daughter this week!!!
Thought I'd share this lovely little lady with you! I love these digital images from Wee stamps, they are gorgeous! I had such fun colouring her with my promarkers and newly acquired prisma pencils! Never thought I could love a pencil sooo much! LOL!
The papers are from Nitwit Collections and the flowers and lace from Wild Orchid Crafts! The sentiment was from a free collection of stamps on one of the crafting magazines!

Its been a while
Hiya,
Its been a while since I last put a post on my blog, but I have still been busy making cards! I made this one for my friends youngest girl who is mad about street dancing and base ball caps!! I thought that this Kenny K Image suited her perfectly and again I have used one of my favourite colour combinations...shocking pink and black!!!

I coloured the image using promarkers, added some flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and lots of sparkles! The Charm is from my stash of goodies and the border bunch is Martha Stewart.
Lots of love

Bunches of Love!
Hiya guys
Here's a card that I made for friend who's birthday was on Sunday! I used Lili of the Valley stamps and found some really pretty card in yellows and greens! Colours that I don't often put together! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts with some small embellishment flowers mixed in! I coloured the stamp using promarkers and inked the edges using distressing ink from Tim Holtz! Hope you like it!

Where's time going?
Hiya Guys
i can't believe that we are over half way through January already! Where does all the time go!????
Well I have been busy making cards as I have a few friends and 1 family member who's birthdays fall in January! So here goes with the card I made for my brother's birhday.
I used the Wacky Wheels decoupage kit from Le Pashe and glitzed it up a bit! My brother used to have one of these before he moved to Germany so it fitted him perfectly! Happy Birthday Bro!!! Cards for men aren't as easy for me as real girly cards so I hope that he likes it?!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe its a new year already and day 2 has almost gone!!! Time flys! My brother and his family came to visit from Germany for the festive season so it has been a very busy but enjoyable 10 days! My 2 year old nephew is just adorable!!!!!!
I haven't had any time for crafting, so I am keen and eager to get going again. Santa was good to me and I got some lovely crafting goodies from family that I can't wait to try out! Sleep, however, is required first!!!!
I have posted a card I made for my Dad to give my Mom on their Ruby Anniversary in October last year! Still playing around with my flower arrangements but loved the way the little charm was able to fit on the swirl below the flowers!

Off to get some sleep now, then hopefully the chance to make a card or two when I'm back up and running tomorrow!
